Writing about your life can feel overwhelming -- after all, you've had a lifetime of experiences. Express your memories and practice the craft of creative non-fiction on a manageable scale by writing micro-memoirs. In 750 words or less, you'll explore single, vivid moments that provide flashes of insight. Come ready to write!   Instructor: Nakusp resident Galadriel Watson has widely published non fiction, creative non-fiction, fiction and comics for outlets that include The Washington Post, The Globe and Mail, Discover magazine and CBC Radio. Her 24th non-fiction book for children will be published by Annick Press in winter 2020. She has a Master's degree in creative writing from the University of British Columbia and an undergraduate degree in writing from the University of Victoria. Learn more at www.galadrielwatson.com
